Chris Bake and his Team Aqua win the fleet regatta after a fantastic final battle whilst Torbjorn Tornqvist and Artemis conquer the Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy (the combination of the match race and fleet race rankings) ahead of Pieter Heerema’s No Way Back and Markus Wieser’s Team Sea Dubai.

Chris Bake and his Team Aqua still lead the fleet race ranking of the Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy RC 44; however Torbjorn Tornqvist’s Artemis is now only two points behind ahead of the last day. Igor Lah’s Ceeref isn’t far either, currently third overall and eight points behind. The last day will be intense!

Chris Bake and his Team Aqua dominated the first day of the fleet regatta with two victories and two second places. The team from the UAE sits seven points ahead of Torbjorn Tornqvist’s Artemis and Igor Lah’s Ceeref after four races.

Markus Wieser and his team from the United Arab Emirates win the match race title of the Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy RC 44, ahead of No Way Back (DEN) and Artemis (SWE). Out of sync and also quite unlucky, Team Aqua finishes seventh.

Team Aqua lost a race against Ceeref by one second. As a result, the team sits one point behind a group of five boats tied in the third place overall.

Team Aqua had a tough start in the Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy RC 44. Currently seventh of the ranking, the team is only one point away from the third spot. Tomorrow will be an important day!

The fourth edition of the RC 44 Championship Tour will begin in Dubai on February 22 with the Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy. Third overall in 2008 and fifth last year (2nd in the fleet race ranking), Team Aqua is one of the event's hot favourites.

Team Aqua finishes fifth overall, second of the fleet race ranking and the DHL Trophy and seventh of the annual match race contest. The double points Sea Dubai RC 44 Gold Cup has cost a lot to the team.

No Way Back conquers the long distance regatta in Dubai as well as the annual Trophy, ahead of Team Aqua on both occasions. Team Aqua is now third of the fleet race ranking.

The usual leaders of the RC 44 Class are back on top of the leader board in the fleet regatta after a difficult start and yesterdays’ unexpected results in the match race. Artemis and Team No Way Back lead the provisional ranking ahead of Team Sea Dubai and Team Aqua.
